Chapter-based narration (like Kill Bill)Ģ. The signature of Quenti Tarantino is written all over the movie. Brad Pitt is at his best and his character has a bit of similarities to the one he played in 'Snatch'. He mixes odd humor with uncanny intelligence while portraying his character. Christopher Waltz is the best among the actors in this movie. The director entertains us with his black humor. The last 45 minutes of the movie takes place in the cinema hall with two parties trying to blow it up. Then there is a one-sided love story between German war hero and Jewish cinema hall owner (who in turn is in love with her black colleague). Then the inglorious basterds and their modus-operandi is introduced. The movie starts like a typical spaghetti western (The beginning chapter is shown as Once Upon A Time in Nazi Occupied France). The screenplay and the direction is fabulous. The rest of the story is all about if they could successfully blow up the theater or not. The high profile premiere that is being attended by big leaders of Nazi attracts their attantion. There is a group of guerrilla soldiers of American-Jewish background called 'Inglorious Basterds' who take up the mission of assassinating all top brass Nazi leaders. A war hero of Germany falls in love with her and he insists that a movie made on his life story should be premiered in her cinema hall. Later she changes her identity and becomes the owner of a cinema hall. Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) escapes from it when Germans slaughter her Jewish family in Nazi occupied France. MPAA rating: Rated R for strong graphic violence, language and brief sexuality. “The film is a complete family entertainer so while making the music, I composed the music to give the actual feel of the sequences and scenes in the film,” Devi Sri Prasad said at the music launch of “Namo Venkatesa” in Bangkok.”Ĭast: Brad Pitt, Mélanie Laurent & Christoph Waltz I am hopeful that the audiences will love its music and all the sequences including the timely comedy sequences in ‘Namo Venkatesa’. The one thing I can tell you is that it is an out and out family entertainer. “Namo Venkatesa is a romantic movie with family drama, action sequences and tremendous entertainment value in which, I play a role of Parvathaneni Venkata Ramana who is an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara as a man of positive thinking and a ventriloquist too. One more song is being picturised at Bangkok currently. 'Namo Venkatesa' is the first and only Indian film to be shot in Iceland.
